Stuff
Well, turns out that part of my job description now includes training. That's right, my shop has a new "production associate," and it's been my job to teach him how to put holes in pieces of metal. The fun part is that I really don't feel qualified to be teaching him. Then there's the fact that since he's new, he doesn't know all the things that I do...which is ok, b/c alot of that is self-explanatory...but it seems that this new guy (whose name shall be renederd as dannie to not name names...) doesn't see these things. So he's always asking what to do, and following me around (sometimes it's almost like a little puppy dog...).Here's how it "affects" me...at first I was patient...but now it's almost getting annoying...and it's becoming harder and harder to refrain from spurting out sarcastic comments about here and yon, etc.
The other BIG thing...Dannie is a morning person...and an almost always nice guy, alot of times kinda spacey, almost airheadedish...but a MORNING PERSON!!! As you may well guess, or know, I am NOT a morning person...I'm more like a late morning, afternoonish type of person. So the clash of personality I'm experiencing with Dannie at work I'm trying to keep under wraps b/c he, Dannie, would feel so bad if he knew...i'm mean like real bad...
So, I'm just doing what I normally do and not letting it affect me, and hope that he will eventually figure things out the way I think that he should.
